Shred 'n' Go is a division of American Recycling Co. in Rhode Island. Our purpose is to assist business,  individuals and government departments with a secure shredding and disposal service for the confidential documents that not only protects your privacy but that of your clients as well. We want you to reduce the risk of Identity Theft, so bring in your documents for shredding. We will shred whatever you have that needs shredding.

Once your documents are shredded, a Document of Destruction is presented to you for your records verifying documents have been properly shredded. Once the shredding has been completed, the shredded documents are prepared for recycling into new paper. At no time are your documents going to a landfill for disposal. We are a locally owned company, not a franchise, and we take pride in our capability in being your source for document shredding.

We also handle Computer Hard Drives for destruction. Many people do not realize that when they dispose of an old computer the hard drive in that computer still contains vital personal information even though you  deleted all the programs. An experienced hacker can still retrieve that information. We have a process that  prevents  hackers  from retrieving any information off the hard drive.

Some companies charge by the minute, and at the end you are over whelmed at the cost of their services. With our company you know what the shredding is going to cost before we do any shredding. We charge by the pound. Computer Hard Drives are $8.00 each for destruction.
